  • Youth Mentorship

    Our mentoring program is built on consistency, presence, and purpose. Michael Thurmond currently mentors weekly in schools and Boys & Girls Clubs across Georgia — connecting with students, athletes, and young leaders through real relationships and truth spoken in love.

    We also offer a structured K–5th grade character curriculum, with plans to expand into more grade levels and more locations in the future.

    This program is designed to scale. Our long-term vision includes trained volunteer mentors, paid program staff, and regional directors — all working together to meet students where they are and stay in the room.

  • Community Outreach

    We don’t just talk about impact — we show up for it.

    From feeding hundreds of kids at the RYDC, to back-to-school drives, to Christmas outreach and one-on-one support for youth in crisis, we meet practical needs with compassion and consistency.

    Community outreach includes:

    Meals for youth in shelters and detention centers

    Backpacks, shoes, and clothing drives

    Holiday events and special celebrations

    Support for young adults facing hard life transitions

    Showing up — even when no one else does

Team Thurmond Mentoring is not just a local effort. It's a model for something bigger — a network of programs, coaches, and communities committed to staying in the room.

  • Salaried mentor-leaders and full-time staff

  • Regional coaching groups for men

  • Speaking engagements and leadership training

  • A future TTM community center with fields, facilities, and space to grow
